Farming for the Future
In 2018 I began the farm as a way to connect myself and my children with the world around us. With an agricultural degree and some experience with large-scale farming, it was time for me to fully pursue growing crops for a living. Three years later and I’m constantly refining my approach to my production plan in addition to becoming a much better mechanic -on the farm, things break. Mostly, I enjoy practicing the art and science of growing things. In my free time, I am often reading or watching videos about other urban and small farming operations and reading industry catalogs. My farm is a test plot of sorts. Where I grow cut flowers, fruits and vegetables. I believe that healthful, fresh produce is a human right and that improvements in small-scale farming can be made to ensure these are available for generations to come.
